Video of taking bribe money goes viral, Home Guard jawan in trouble

Sehore: A video circulating on social media depicts a Home Guard jawan stationed at Budhani police station in Sehore district allegedly accepting bribes. Responding promptly to the situation, authorities have relieved the home guard jawan from duty and initiated an investigation into the incident. The incident reportedly involves the extraction of bribes for allowing the passage of a sand trolley during a routine inspection. Onlookers recorded the incident and shared the video widely on social media platforms.

This occurrence has gained particular attention as it relates to the Chief Minister’s home district. The individual identified in the video is reported to be Brijlal Jharbade. Taking swift action, officials have confiscated the equipment of the Home Guard jawan and suspended him pending further inquiry.

The video, which originated from the Budhni area, the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan’s constituency, has sparked public discussion. Previous instances of bribery captured on video have also surfaced on social media. Budhni SDOP Shashank Gurjar, addressing the media, confirmed that following the video’s circulation, the jawan was removed from the police station and sent back to the Home Guard Department. His equipment has been seized, and an investigation into the video has been launched. Depending on the findings of the investigation, appropriate measures will be taken.
