Vidhansabha Election 2023- Second phase of certification program of returning officers organized

The Election Department is busy preparing for the upcoming assembly elections in the state. In this sequence, the second phase of the four-day certification program of the returning officers will start from Monday at Harishchandra Mathur Rajasthan Institute of Public Administration.
Chief Electoral Officer Mr. Praveen Gupta said that in view of the upcoming assembly elections, the second phase of the certification program is being organized to make the returning officers aware of election related procedures. So that it can be easy to understand the election related works, the guidelines of the commission and the upcoming elections can be conducted easily.
Mr. Gupta said that this is the second phase of the four-day certification program, which will be held from July 24 to July 27. In this, the remaining 100 returning officers after the first phase will participate in the form of Batch-3 and Batch-4. It is noteworthy that the first phase of the certification program was conducted from July 10 to July 13, in which 100 returning officers participated.
The Chief Electoral Officer said that Mr. Sudhanshu Gautam, Mr. Ashok Priyadarshi, Mr. Prabhas Dutta, Mr. V. Raghavendra, Mr. N.N. Butolia, Mr. Shashi Shekhar Reddy, Mrs. Shalini Chetal, Mr. Madhusudan Sharma will inform about election related aspects.
During this, in-depth information will also be given on various points including paid news and media certification and monitoring committee, candidate nomination, scrutiny of nomination papers, nomination withdrawal and symbol allotment process, postal ballot, model code of conduct, expenditure monitoring and district election management plan.
