Vikramaditya Singh said, roads will be improved in Shimla-Mandi-Hamirpur
Shimla. Public Works and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh said that an amount of Rs 15 crore has been sanctioned for the maintenance of roads and other works. This amount will be spent on various development projects in the state. He said that under this, Rs 3 crore has been sanctioned for the Bagchhal to Talai via Kalol road in Hamirpur district. Rs 3 crore for tiring and strengthening of Sainj-Chaupal-Nerva-Fediz road in Shimla district, Rs 3 crore for Manpur to Saraj road in Mandi district, Dhameta to Barsar road in Hamirpur district and upgradation of Barsar to Shahtalai road. An amount of Rs 3-3 crore has also been approved. Vikramaditya Singh said that under the Chief Minister Urban Livelihood Guarantee Mission, administrative approval has been given to provide an amount of Rs 1 crore 74 lakh 28 thousand to various urban bodies. He said that apart from this, an amount of Rs 5001 lakh has also been released for machinery and equipment etc. He said that the state government is determined for the development of road infrastructure and appropriate funds are being released from time to time through the Public Works Department.
