Villager killed by beating with a stick

Surguja. A case has come to light of a villager sleeping with his wife at home by beating them to death with sticks by unknown people. After the information of the incident, the police team reached the spot and sent the dead body for postmortem and took the whole matter under investigation. According to the information received in this regard, a young man Sukhlal was sleeping with his wife at home last night in village Darripara under Manipur police station area of Surguja district.

Meanwhile, late night unknown people entered his house and killed Sukhlal by beating him with sticks. The accused is absconding since the incident. After the information of the incident, the police of Manipur police station reached the spot, while sending the dead body to the hospital for postmortem, interrogated the family members as well as the nearby villagers, registered a case against the accused and started tracing them.
