Villagers clashed in sand mine, beat each other
Gariaband. After the beating of YouTuber in Rajim area, villagers now clashed among themselves over illegal excavation and transportation of sand. A video of a clash between villagers who had gone to stop illegal transportation from the Hathkhoj mine has surfaced.
The matter of beating of YouTuber who had gone to cover Chaubebandha illegal mine had not calmed down when now the video of beating of villagers in Hathkhoj mine is going viral, in which some villagers are seen stopping the highway which is illegally transporting sand. Meanwhile, there was a dispute among some villagers supporting the mine. Soon the dispute escalated and the people supporting the mine beat up those opposing the transportation.
The incident happened on Friday afternoon. In fact, now the administration has served a notice to the Panchayat regarding illegal mining, after which there is anger in the village regarding illegal transportation. The lease for Hathkhoj mine has been issued in the district, but instead of the identified site, illegal mining is going on in another area. After illegal mining, a road has been made by cutting the mound of the river for the extraction of sand, which directly leads to the road falling on the border of Raipur district.
