Villagers frightened after seeing dead body in river, police busy in identification

Kawardha. A sensation spread today when a woman’s body was found in the river flowing from Limaipur village in the Baiga dominated area of the district. The people of the village saw this dead body and informed the police. After which the police reached the spot, took the body out of the river and sent it for post-mortem. According to the police, the deceased woman has not been identified.

Let us tell you that incidents of murder have been happening in the district for the last several days. There have been 7 murders in a month. Here the villagers have expressed suspicion of murder in this case also. Which is a cause of concern for the police. However, the police has sent the body for post-mortem.

After whose report comes, the real cause of the woman’s death will be known. Even after interrogating the villagers, the woman has not been identified yet. Pandariya police station is busy in identifying the woman.
