Villagers scared after seeing bear near Gauthan, announcement made in village

Pendra. There has been a stir due to the arrival of a bear in Gauthan adjacent to the road in Pendra-Marwahi. Due to rampant felling and excavation in Marwahi forest, bears are reaching the populated areas every day in search of food and water and people are now troubled by the coming and going of bears.

Similarly, a bear reached near Gauthan of Danikundi village of Marwahi and later went towards the forest via Gauthan.
