Vishal Thakur, absconding accused of Balwa case, arrested
Raigad. The goon accused Vishal Thakur, who is absconding in the Balwa case, has been arrested from near the railway station and sent on remand by the co-staff of Kotwali Inspector Shanip Ratre. Accused Vishal Thakur has been booked for assault and about 17 other crimes, including attempt to murder in Police Station Kotwali, in which he is out on bail. Against the accused Vishal Thakur and his brother Raju Shrivas, Babu Thakur and sister Kusum Thakur, Baby Yadav, Jitesh Sonkar father Dhiru Sonkar (age 22 years) of his locality Railway Colony Banglapara, on March 16, inside the police station Kotwali by the accused in an agreement. A report was lodged for trespassing and vandalizing the motor cycle. Reporter Jitesh Sonkar told that on 09.03.2023 at around 09:30 pm, Baby Yadav and Kusum Thakur came near the house and wife Anjali was banging on the door after abusing Dhruv.

The accused is a habitual scoundrel who has been arrested today for the crime of rebellion and sent on remand. Efforts are on to trace and arrest the other absconding accused.
