Vivo Y78t launched with 50MP camera, 6,000mAh battery, know details

Vivo has launched a new Y series smartphone in its homeland China. The phone has been named Vivo Y78t. The Chinese smartphone brand already offers two other smartphones in the Y78 series: Vivo y78 and Y78+.

The new Vivo smartphone is equipped with a 6.64-inch IPS LCD display with full-HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The Vivo Y78t is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM. The Vivo Y78t sports a dual rear camera unit led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor and is backed by a 6000 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. This phone is the successor to Vivo Y77t which was launched in China in August.

Vivo Y78t price in India, availability
Vivo Y78t is available in three storage variants: 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. The base variant is priced at CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs 17,000). However, pricing details of the other two variants have not been revealed yet.

It is currently on sale in China via Vivo’s official e-store in three color options: Moon Shadow Black, Snowy White, and Distance Mountain Green (translated from Chinese).

The Vivo Y78t is powered by a 4nm octa-core Snapdragon 6 Gen SoC and features a 6.64-inch IPS LCD display with full-HD+ resolution (2388 x 1080 pixels) and 120Hz refresh rate, 394 dpi pixels, and 91.06 pixels tall screen. Body-body relationship.

The phone comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS2.2 storage. It comes with OriginOS 3 based on Android 13. The Vivo Y78t draws power from a massive 6,000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging.

Vivo Y78t has dual camera setup at the back. The camera unit includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and a 2-megapixel depth shooter with an f/2.4 lens. On the front, it features an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture that is housed inside a notch at the center of the display.

Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, a proximity sensor, an electronic compass, and a gyroscope. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for authentication.

The device measures 164.63×75.80×9.10 mm and weighs around 199 grams.
