Volunteers spruced up the school premises
The seven-day camp of NSS unit was formally inaugurated at Government Senior Secondary School, Telka. On this occasion, Chairman of the SMC Committee of the school, Rajindra Kumar was present as the chief guest. School Principal Sanjay Kumar, NSS in-charge Pawan Deval and Shashi Sharma honored the chief guest by wearing a badge and cap.
The chief guest asked the volunteers to actively participate in the activities conducted during the camp. He also shared the working of the School Management Committee with the volunteers.
NSS in-charge Pawan Deval said that in the seven-day camp, special focus will be on activities based on cleanliness. Various resource persons will guide the volunteers in the intellectual sessions of the camp.
On the first day of the camp, NSS volunteers also cut the bushes growing around the campus and science lab and properly disposed of the garbage scattered around. On this occasion, apart from school teachers Gurpal Singh, Manoj Kumar, Sandeep Dhiman, Anil Chauhan, Prahlad Kumar, Ashok Kumar and Mahindra Singh, volunteers included Farhan Akhtar, Shoaib Akhtar, Shubham, Karn, Aditi, Roshni, Sneha, Kajal, Moni and Aditya etc. were present. Fifty NSS volunteers are participating in this camp.
