Vote for Run organized, hundreds of women participated
Bhilainagar: Under the voter awareness campaign, women formed human chains in the streets and public open places of the corporation area and raised the slogan of ‘must vote’ on 17th November.
When the women of Bhilai Corporation area’s women self-help group associated with the National Urban Livelihood Mission gathered in a queue in the locality, it became a matter of curiosity for the people and within no time other women of the locality started joining them, forming a human chain. Everyone took an oath that they will become free and use their voting rights without any discrimination, rising above the caste class.
Everyone took a pledge to get themselves and all the people of their locality to vote in the voting to be held on 17th November, that is, they raised the slogan of 100 percent voting in their locality. The women said in one voice that they should leave all their work and vote first. Similar scene was seen in about 20 places including Gautam Nagar Supela, Shastri Nagar, Laxminarayan Nagar, Pragati Nagar, Rajiv Nagar, Model Town, Karma Bhawan Kohka, Sector 10, Chhawni Basti, Kosanagar labor area, Sector 06, Khursipar, Ambedkar Nagar of Bhilai Corporation area. Reiterated the resolve to make voting mandatory by forming a human chain in more than 100 localities.

To create awareness among young voters, Corporation Bhilai has organized Vote for Run on Friday at 7 am in Shriram Chowk Khursipar ground, in which every citizen should cast his/her vote in the elections to be held on 17th November i.e. for 100% voting, the people of the area will will be encouraged.
