‘Vote vaare hamarjo, vote aapdo adhikar hai’ District Election Officer launches voter awareness

Dungarpur: As part of the Assembly General Election-2023 sweep activities, District Election Officer and District Collector Lakshmi Narayan Minister launched the election voter awareness song as part of Vote Garba Utsav for voter awareness in the district. The lyrics of the song in Vaagdi are – Vote Vare Hamarjo, Vote Aapdo Adhikar Hai. In a program organized in an institute, the District Election Officer, while appreciating the voting awareness song imbued with local dialect and culture in the tribal dominated Dungarpur district, said that in the festival of democracy, every citizen has the right to vote and it is also the responsibility of every citizen. He stressed on adopting innovations for voting awareness. During this, the District Election Officer also administered the oath of voting to 704 newly registered voters.
District Sweep In-charge and Chief Executive Officer Gitesh Shri Malviya inspired to download C-Vigil App to stop violation of Model Code of Conduct. He gave detailed information about Voter Helpline Number 1950, NVSP Portal, VHA Portal, Saksham Portal for Divyangjan, KYC etc. The voting awareness song was composed by Megha Sharma, while the lyricist is Babulal Bhachadiya and music composer is director Bhupendra Singh Deola. School teachers and students performed Garba on voter awareness song. Harish Pandey, Chandulal Katara, Jitendra Singh, Devendra, Govind Singh, Bhavik Jain, Bhumika Jain, Viral Rawal were present from the sweep cell.
