Voter awareness programs are being conducted in villages and cities
Sarangarh-Bilaigarh: Under the guidance of District Election Officer and Collector Dr. Fariha Alam Siddiqui and under the leadership of Sweep Nodal Mr. Harishankar Chauhan, in the morning in various villages of Sarangarh, Bilaigarh and Barmkela, under the guidance of District Election Officer and Collector Dr. Fariha Alam Siddiqui and under the leadership of Sweep Nodal Mr. Harishankar Chauhan, to encourage 100 percent voting in the assembly elections on 17th November. SVEEP voter awareness program is being conducted in different ways by women groups and cadres. In which oath was taken by writing sweep, vote, voting through flowers, soup, coconut, henna, lamp, vegetables etc. and others were also made aware.
Chief Electoral Officer Mrs. Reena Babasaheb Kangale had given instructions regarding Adarsh polling centers and Sangwari polling centers under the Assembly Elections 2023. He had given instructions to make these polling centers model by displaying them on the heritage or other good theme of the district so that the voters can be attracted to vote. In compliance with the above instructions, under the guidance of Collector and District Election Officer Dr. Fariha Alam Siddiqui, all the Model Polling Centers and Disabled Sangwari Polling Centers of the district are being displayed as model polling centres. Along with this, the archaeological heritage, wild animals and artefacts of ancient temples of the district are being displayed on the walls of the polling stations so that maximum number of voters can participate in voting in this festival of democracy.
