Voting will be held for the first time in these two villages
Bastar: Voting will be held for the first time only in Kalepal village and Chandameta village of Bastar district. Today Collector and District Election Officer Vijay Dayaram sent off the polling parties with best wishes. Let us tell you that voting for the Assembly Elections 2023 is going to be held on 7th November, under which polling parties were distributed and sent by helicopter to the remote and inaccessible areas.
According to the Election Commission, in the first phase of Chhattisgarh Assembly Elections 2023, a total of 223 candidates will participate in the elections in 20 assembly constituencies, in which a total of 40 lakh 78 thousand 681 voters will exercise their franchise. These include a total of 19 lakh 93 thousand 937 male voters, 20 lakh 84 thousand 675 female voters and 69 third gender voters. Votes will be cast in a total of 5304 polling stations.
