State Congress Communication Department President Sushil Anand Shukla said that Congress did what it had said and Congress is committed to do more for the people in the times to come. The priority of the Congress Party is to provide relief to the people and all-round development of the people. Employment, education, health are the priorities of Congress. Both urban and rural areas have been taken care of in the Congress manifesto. In the manifesto, Congress has said that about 50 lakh families of the state will get the benefit of free electricity up to 200 units. Till now, people below the poverty line used to get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh and other categories had the facility of treatment up to Rs 50 thousand. If the Congress government is formed, free treatment facilities up to Rs 10 lakh will be provided to those below the poverty line and up to Rs 5 lakh will be provided to all other categories of people.
In case of major diseases, if Congress forms the government, everyone will get treatment up to Rs 25 lakh without any discrimination. State Congress Communication Department President Sushil Anand Shukla said that the aim of Congress is to promote education. In its manifesto, Congress has promised to make all types of education in Chhattisgarh free for all sections from nursery to post graduate. This will save the expenditure on education of people of every section of the state. Chhattisgarh will be the only state in the country where medical, engineering and ITI education will also be free. State Congress Communication Department President Sushil Anand Shukla said that Congress will also provide relief from inflation. After the formation of Congress government, the sisters of below poverty line Ujjwala will get only Rs 107 after the formation of Congress government. Cylinder will be available at Rs 474 and all categories of people will get the cheapest price in the entire country. Around Rs. 100 crore of cooking gas will be available in Chhattisgarh. BJP has given Rs 500 to those below the poverty line. Congress, which is claiming the cylinder, has given Rs 500 to all sections of people. Has promised to provide relief.
