Was fond of becoming a ticket collector, but became a criminal
Raigarh: Fake TC in Titlagarh passenger came face to face with railway TTE on Sunday. On questioning, the fake TT started giving evasive answers. On suspicion of being fake, he was caught from Jharadih and handed over to GRP. The accused youth Naresh Kumar Gond (35) is a resident of Bagdeva Jharadih. GRP is taking action against the accused under section 419, 171 IPC.
While on duty in train number 08264 running from Bilaspur to Titlagarh, TTE Manish Kumar Verma saw a person in TTE uniform at Jharadih station. He boarded the Titlagarh passenger. Manish reached the person along with fellow TTE Vinay Kumar, who climbed in the car for checking. He had a TC badge on his uniform. The designation and name TC was written in the I-card. When TTE became suspicious, he started inquiring. The accused youth introduced himself as TTE of Korba. Korba’s TTE Naresh Kumar Kshatriya was traveling in the train. When he was called and questioned, he confessed to being a fake TC. After this, accused Naresh God was handed over to GRP.
Even in the village, he used to call himself a ticket collector. The arrested accused Naresh God told that he was fond of becoming a ticket collector, but could not become one. After this, he made coats, benches, nameplates and other items in a fake way to become a fake ticket collector. Here in the village everyone considered him a ticket collector.
