When discount was not given, the yard manager was shot
Gurgaon. The manager of a bar was shot at a bar adjacent to a liquor bar for not giving discount on the bill. The youths who came in six-seven vehicles not only beat up the courtyard manager but also opened fire on him. In this incident, a bullet hit the manager’s leg, after which he got injured and fell down.
After the incident the accused fled from the spot. As soon as information about the incident was received, Sadar police station reached the spot and investigated the case and arrested an accused.
The accused was identified as Surendra, a resident of Jhajjar, who is a gym trainer and sells supplements. Aman Rao, originally a resident of Rewari, said that he is the manager of the dockyard complex in Sector-47.
On Wednesday night, his and his uncle’s acquaintances on contract had come to this compound and were drinking alcohol. During this time, he had a bill of about Rs 17 thousand, on which he was asking for a discount. They had a dispute regarding bill payment. On this he called the compound manager Aman Rao to the spot.
It is alleged that when Aman reached the spot, the accused called their associates while threatening them and as soon as they arrived, the accused started beating them. During this, a young man fired three rounds at him, one of which hit his leg. After the incident the accused fled from the spot.
The injured in the incident was admitted to the hospital, from where the police was informed. Police registered a case and arrested one accused. ACP Crime Varun Dahiya said that preliminary investigation of this case revealed that the arrested accused is a gym trainer and works in selling food supplements. Efforts are being made to arrest the absconding accused in this case. The accused is being taken on remand and interrogated.
