She was brought to Mekaj, where she died at night. Police said that Phoolon Netam, wife of Dharam Das (37 years), resident of Sonpur, was addicted to drinking alcohol. The husband used to do farming. The woman had 5 children. She was unable to give up the addiction of alcohol, due to which the wife did not like the advice of her husband and committed suicide by consuming poison. Seeing the woman vomiting, the family took her to the health center of Bakavand, from where she was brought to Mekaj for better treatment. The woman died during treatment. The woman’s death caused a wave of mourning in the family. The body was handed over to the family after the post-mortem.
