Dehradun: The investigation into the scam worth crores in the name of hiring employees in Solar Energy Corporation of India has reached Doon. In this case, CBI is looking for 14 students of DAV PG College. CBI has sent a letter to the college principal seeking documents and information about these students.
There is a stir in the college due to the letter from CBI. Sources say that CBI investigation may soon come to a halt. CBI Delhi had registered an FIR in 2021 in the case of fraudulently hiring employees on contract in Solar Energy Corporation of India.
In which it was revealed that a payment of Rs 1 crore was made to a private company in exchange for the supply of 30 to 40 contract employees. Whereas these employees were kept only on paper. Actually no employee was hired.
Sources said that during investigation, CBI found that 14 of these employees were students of DAV PG College, Dehradun. Whose documents were kept there. After this, CBI has now started searching for these 14 students.
CBI has sent a letter to the college principal, Dr. SK Singh, asking for educational and other documents related to these students. Also sought information about them. This letter from CBI has created a stir in the college. Investigation into this matter has also started from the college level. Sources say that soon CBI may come to the college to investigate this matter.
Investigation has also started whether these were college students or only their documents were used for fraud. In this case, CBI has filed a case against a Noida company, officials of Solar Energy Corporation and some private people. In which the names of these 14 students are also there.
I have received a letter from CBI. In which information about 14 students is given. It has been asked whether these students are from DAV College or not. This is being verified. Till verification, it cannot be said whether these students belong to DAV or not.
