Ambikapur ; Counting of votes will take place in the district on December 3, in connection with which necessary training is being given to the counting supervisors and counting assistants in the district. The master trainer has given detailed information about the counting process and the rules to be followed during the counting of votes to the employees engaged in the training organized in the District Panchayat meeting room on Friday, so that the counting work can be done in a better way.
Collector and District Election Officer Kundan Kumar, while addressing the employees in the training, praised all the officers and employees engaged in voting for working patiently and impartially. He said that this spirit should be maintained. He also praised the master trainers for providing good training. He said that work should be done with such caution. Officers at every level are being given training by the Election Commission of India. Take this training seriously and clarify any problems or doubts you have immediately. Make sure to carry out the counting of votes with the same dedication and impartiality with which you worked during the election period.
It is noteworthy that a total of 144 counting supervisors and counting assistants have been trained. 65 microobservers are to be trained on 25th November. Counting of votes is to be done on December 3 at Government Polytechnic College Ambikapur in the district. In which the votes cast through EVM and postal ballot of all three assembly constituencies will be counted. There are 254 polling stations in Assembly Constituency No. 9 Lundra, 282 polling stations in Assembly Constituency No. 10 and 245 polling stations in Assembly Constituency No. 11. 14 tables will be set up for each assembly to count votes from EVMs. Similarly, separate arrangements will also be made for counting of votes through postal ballot. CEO District Panchayat Nutan Kanwar, DIO NIC Zia ur Rehman and election related officers and employees were present in the training.
