Will fulfill every promise of Modi’s guarantee: Chief Minister

Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, while addressing the ‘Grand Conference and Congratulation Ceremony of All India Binjhiya Samaj’ organized at Jamdei in Surajpur district today, said that due to the kindness of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 12 castes including Binjhiya caste got the status of tribe. For years, Binjhiya community had been demanding to be given the status of tribe. He said that showing sensitivity towards the demand, the Prime Minister included twelve castes including Binjhiya community in the list of tribes, these castes got the opportunity to join the mainstream of development. Today I am very happy that caste certificates of children of 12 castes including Binjhiya community are being made and these classes are getting the benefits of government schemes. It is the result of the efforts of the Central Government led by Prime Minister Shri Modi, myself as an MP and the Chhattisgarh Government led by former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh that today these deprived communities have got their rights.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that when he was the Minister of State at the Centre. Then he made continuous efforts to include 12 castes including Binjhiya community in the Scheduled Tribe category. He told that the pain and problems of this class were raised loudly in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha so that justice can be done to the tribal brothers and sisters. He expressed gratitude towards Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh for including 12 castes in the list of tribes. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai announced the approval of rope way in Maa Kudargarhi temple. Along with this, he approved Rs 4.5 crore for widening of Pampapur road from Devipur Mahamaya Temple, Rs 3 crore for construction of culvert in Jogiguda drain on Devipur to Nauwapar road, approval of 50 seater girls hostel and construction of Jamdei at a cost of Rs 20 lakh. Announced the approval of community building.
The Chief Minister said that we will fulfill every promise made in the guarantee of Modi ji. We started fulfilling Modi ji’s guarantee by taking the historic decision of approving the provision of pucca houses to 18 lakh families in the first cabinet meeting after taking oath. Fulfilling the second promise, on the occasion of Good Governance Day, an amount of Rs 3716 crore of two years’ outstanding paddy bonus was paid into the accounts of more than 12 lakh farmers. Under Modi ji’s guarantee, farmers’ paddy is being purchased at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal from the rate of 21 quintals per acre. Shri Sai said that the farmers who have sold paddy at the support price will be paid the difference amount. Will go.
The Chief Minister said that after the formation of the new government, we have ordered a CBI inquiry into the PSC scam within 25 days. As per the promise, we will start the Mahtari Vandan Yojana to give Rs 12,000 annually to married mothers, Rs 500 gas cylinders will be given to the poor, and Rs 10,000 will be given annually to poor landless laborers. Tendu leaves will be purchased at the rate of Rs 5500 per standard bag. All work will be done in the interest of forest dwellers, more than one lakh backlog posts are vacant and they will also be filled soon. He said that the previous government has loaded the state with a lot of debt but our policy and intentions are right, we will work in the interest of everyone. In view of the widespread public support received in Surguja division, three ministers have been made from Surguja division. The Chief Minister said that former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh started the Food Security Scheme in the state. Due to which people did not have to remain hungry, everyone got food. Dr. Raman Singh Ji was called Chaur wale Baba.
The Chief Minister started the program by lighting the lamp. In the program, Binjhiya community congratulated the first tribal Chief Minister of the state Shri Sai for protecting the interests of the tribals and honored him by presenting him a mace. On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated various development works worth Rs 27 crore 72 lakh for the development of the area and distributed checks of material and assistance amount to the beneficiaries under various welfare schemes of the government.
Addressing the program, Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker and former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh said that Surguja region has created a history, the blessings given by the people here, today the son of Surguja has become the head of the state, it is a matter of pride. Dr. Singh said that during our tenure, special efforts were made to remove the quantitative error of 12 castes including Binjhiya community and the result was that the successful Prime Minister of the country, Shri Narendra Modi, while doing justice to these classes in the year 2022, Were included in the list of Scheduled Tribes. About 25 lakh people of these castes are benefiting from this decision. Due to quantitative error, the people of Binjhiya community were not able to get the benefits given to the tribes. Dr. Singh said that a historic event was organized today by Binjhiya society. The people of this society welcomed the Chief Minister with great emotion.
Important contribution of Prime Minister Modi in getting the status of tribe to Binjhiya caste – Sixty-year-old Bhagwan Ram Sirdar and sixty-five-year-old Bechan Ram, who reached the general conference of the society, shared their views and said that the Honorable Prime Minister has made an important contribution in including the Binjhiya community in the Scheduled Tribe category.
