Will not allow liquor ban, Excise Minister gave a big statement

Raipur. Excise Minister Kawasi Lakhma has said that banning liquor in the state would be a big stupidity. However, he called it a personal opinion. Lakhma said that as long as I am in the government, I will not allow prohibition because in Bilaspur and Raipur, 6 people each have died after consuming intoxicants due to lack of liquor. We do not want such a situation to arise in the entire state. The Excise Minister had reached Jagdalpur on Sunday. During this time he said that liquor cannot be banned in entire India. Be it Andhra-Telangana or the states of North India, no one wants to ban liquor. People of Bastar drink less alcohol. But there is a tradition of liquor in every kind of customs. Lakhna said that no one has died due to drinking alcohol in Bastar. 5th schedule is applicable in Bastar. Even the government cannot do anything. Whatever decision is taken is taken by the Gram Sabha. Therefore the state government will not ban liquor.
