Winter session, proceedings of Chhattisgarh Assembly adjourned till tomorrow
Raipur. After the motion of thanks on the election of the Assembly Speaker, the proceedings of the Assembly have been adjourned till 11 am tomorrow i.e. Wednesday. After the end of today’s day, tomorrow i.e. on Wednesday at 11:05 am, there will be an address by Governor Bishwabhushan Harichandan, while on Friday, there will be a discussion on the motion of gratitude presented on the address, while on the last day of the session, i.e. on Friday, government work along with financial work will be done.
Let us tell you that former CM Dr. Raman Singh has been unanimously elected as the Speaker of the Assembly. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai had named Raman Singh for the Speaker of the Assembly. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao supported him. Leader of Opposition Charandas Mahant also put forward the name of Raman Singh for the Speaker of the Assembly. Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel also supported it. 5 proposals were made. After which former Chief Minister Raman Singh was unanimously elected Speaker of the Assembly.
