Janjgir. During a sudden light rain, a woman working in the field died due to lightning, while the other woman was also seriously scorched. The dead woman was the sister-in-law of the scorched woman. During this, both Priya and Sarojini got hit by lightning. Priya’s chest, waist and other body parts were badly burnt, due to which she died on the spot. At the same time, Sarojini was also scorched by the celestial lightning. Other people also came in the grip of gaze but nothing much happened to them. Other laborers present on the spot informed the family members about the incident and Jhulsi Sarojini was admitted to the district hospital.
