Woman died during operation, had reached hospital with complaint of stones
Mahasamund: A woman died during a stone operation in a private hospital in Mahasamund Nagar. As soon as the news of the woman’s death was received, the family created a ruckus in the hospital alleging negligence in the operation and late reporting of the death. While the relatives of the deceased woman have lodged a written complaint in the city police station that the doctor died due to negligence, the hospital management is calling these allegations wrong, on which the police is saying that action will be taken after investigation.
Kholbahari Kurre, aged 50 years, resident of Tendulotha Ward No. 12 under Bagbahra Municipality limits, was admitted by his family members to Aditya Hospital in Mahasamund on 22 September for the operation of stones and warts in urinary bladder and had deposited Rs 5,000 for the investigation. . Before the operation, all the medical checkups were done in which the complete report of the woman was normal and the operation was started on the morning of 23rd September. But due to excessive bleeding during the operation, blood pressure started getting low and there was difficulty in breathing. Doctors stopped the operation midway and tried to save him through CPR for blood pressure and breathing. But the woman died after some time.
