Woman dies after being hit by a car, on the spot death due to head explosion
Takhatpur: A woman has died in a road accident in Takhatpur, Chhattisgarh. She was going from home to the bank to withdraw loan money from the women’s group, when a car hit her. The car driver managed to escape from the spot.
According to the information received, Gangotri Bai, resident of village Khajuri Navagaon under Takhatpur police station area, received information that she has received a loan from a women’s group. She was going to Bandhan Bank in Takhatpur with her husband and son to withdraw the loan amount. They had just reached Belsari near the petrol pump under Takhatpur police station area when an unknown car hit them while overtaking the tractor. The woman died on the spot due to head injury in the accident. As soon as the information about the matter was received, the police reached the spot and are investigating the matter. The car driver managed to escape and the police is busy searching for him.
