Ghaziabad: A dispute broke out between a female e-rickshaw driver and a police sub-inspector in Ghaziabad. The police prohibited the woman driver from parking the e-rickshaw on the road. After which an argument and scuffle started between the woman and the policeman. The woman took out her slippers in the middle of the road and started hitting the policeman. People standing nearby started making videos of this. This uproar continued for a long time. Now after the police complaint, the woman has been detained and her e-rickshaw is also being confiscated.
The entire matter pertains to Kanavani-Pusta Road located on National Highway-9 in Indirapuram police station area. In the viral video, a woman is seen beating the inspector with slippers. During this, the inspector’s cap also fell on the road. The inspector asked the woman several times to leave. He even folded his hands once, but the woman kept hitting him again and again. During this, the inspector also slapped the woman. The woman said to the inspector- I am telling you, I will go to jail. Saying this she started scuffling with the inspector. When the inspector tried to escape from there, the woman chased him and slapped him.

In the whole matter, Indirapuram area traffic inspector Yogesh Pant said, the woman drives an e-rickshaw. Kanawani-Pusta road is narrow. E-rickshaw drivers stop their vehicles on the road to board passengers. Due to this there is jam there. The traffic sub-inspector had asked to remove the e-rickshaw from there, on which a dispute broke out. An FIR is being lodged in this matter by Sub Inspector Vijaykant at Indirapuram police station. The police have taken the accused woman into custody. His e-rickshaw is also being brought to the police station.
