Woman enters Kempegowda airport using fake air ticket to see off friend, arrested
Bengaluru, November 27: An FIR was lodged against a woman for entering Bengaluru International Airport after presenting a fake air ticket to drop off a friend, following which she was arrested, according to police sources. Police said on Monday that the woman has been identified as Harpit Kaur Saini. The accused had entered the airport with her friend Ayush Sharma through a fake air ticket.
She headed towards PESC to bid farewell to the person she was with.
She proceeded for the Pre-Emergence Security Check (PESC) to bid farewell to her accompanying person. She later returned and claimed that her laptop was lost. The security personnel became suspicious and checked his air ticket.
