Woman killed her husband by stabbing him
Bhubaneswar (IANS). A shocking case has come to light from Bhadrak district of Odisha. Here a woman allegedly killed her husband by stabbing him with the help of a minor son. The police gave this information on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Suresh Kumar Mahla. This incident is of Mahla Sahi of Banitiya Panchayat under Bhadrak rural police station area. Locals allege that Suresh’s wife Sanjulata and minor son stabbed him to death in a family dispute.
Locals said that Suresh came out of his house crying out in pain and then collapsed on the road. Where he died shortly after.
Later, the villagers thrashed the woman and her son by tying them to a tree. After getting the information of the incident, the police team reached the spot. Police took possession of the dead body and took Sanjulata and her minor son into custody.
The accused woman Sanjulata Mahala and her minor son were also injured in the incident. An official said that both are undergoing treatment. The dead body has been sent for postmortem. The exact reason behind the murder will be known after interrogating the mother-son.
