Woman passenger’s jewelry worth 5 lakh stolen in train
Raipur. Thieves created panic in three bogies including AC coach of Raxaul-Secunderabad Express running through Chhattisgarh and crossed the bags of the passengers. During this, the gang also targeted a bag full of gold and silver ornaments worth five lakh rupees belonging to a female passenger of Korba. On the report of the woman, the GRP has registered a case and started investigation. The incident happened on Tuesday late night.
Actually, Chandan Pati Narayan Lal, a resident of Korba, was traveling in Raxaul-Secunderabad. She was traveling in B-1 coach of the train. His reservation was from Bokaro City to Bilaspur Stansh. This train left for Bilaspur at its scheduled time at around 1.30 am. After reaching her place, she put the bag under the seat and lay down on the seat. Then at around 2:30 in the night, his eyes were caught. When he woke up at six to seven in the morning, there was a stir in the coach. Many passengers’ bags were stolen from the bogie. The woman peeped under her seat, then she lost her senses. His bag along with his luggage had crossed. Five rupees worth of gold and silver ornaments were kept in his bag.
