Woman’s naked body found, police made big revelation
Keshkal. Two days ago, on Wednesday morning, a bloodied and naked body of a woman was found near village Badhemali bridge of Keshkal Farsgaon police station area. There were injury marks on the woman’s head. On information from the villagers, Farasgaon SDOP Anil Kumar Vishwakarma and police station incharge Naresh Sahu reached the spot with their team. The woman was identified as 45-year-old Daso Bai Netam, husband of Ghadvaram Netam, resident of village Chothemli. The suspicion of murder was raised after injury marks were found on the woman’s head. The police conducted post-mortem of the deceased’s body. On the basis of the Marg report, the police registered the crime under section 302.
Seeing the seriousness of the incident, the police started interrogating the deceased’s husband and the villagers. During interrogation, it was revealed that the deceased’s husband Ghadwa Ram Netam turned out to be the murderer. Police station in-charge Naresh Sahu said that, on interrogating the accused husband, he told that there was a fair in Badthemli village on Tuesday. Both husband and wife had gone to the fair and both consumed a lot of alcohol. By evening the deceased was unable to walk due to intoxication. The woman was not going even after her husband repeatedly asked her to go home. Angered by this, the accused husband hit her on the head with a lump of soil from the field, due to which she died. After the statement of the accused, on Friday, the accused Ghadwa Ram Netam, aged 55, was presented in the court by the police and sent to jail.
