Women applied henna en masse for voting awareness

Sarangarh Bilaigarh. The season of paddy harvesting has started among the villagers. In the midst of this paddy harvest, voting will be held on 17 November 2023 in the polling stations falling under Raigarh Assembly including Sarangarh and Bilaigarh Assembly constituencies of the district. To motivate the villagers of village Bhawarpur of Salar cluster of Sarangarh development block to vote, the self-help group and rural women got henna applied on their hands for the voter awareness campaign.

School children inspired to vote through rally and slogan Voter awareness campaign is being organized in the entire district under the leadership of Collector Dr. Fariha Alam Siddiqui. Under the voter awareness campaign in Government Higher Secondary School Hardi of Sarangarh development block, school children appealed to the voters of the village to vote through posters, drama, rangoli, dance, rally, slogan etc. Women members of the women’s group presented a cultural program ‘I am India, India is in me, I am strength, there is strength in me.’ Along with this, the children of Eklavya School gave a brilliant presentation.
