Women Maoists killed, DRG and BSF took major action in Kanker
Kanker. Big news has come out from Dhur Naxal affected area of the district. There has been a tremendous encounter between the jawans and the Naxalites in the forests of Chhote Bethia police station area. In this encounter, the jawans have killed a female Naxalite. This action has been taken by a joint team of DRG and BSF. Bastar IGP P Sundaraj has confirmed this encounter. Let us tell you that 5 days ago, Naxalites had set vehicles on fire in this area.
According to the information, the presence of about 20-25 armed Maoists along with the RKB Division Secretary, Mendki LOS Commander was reported to the jawans in Chhotebethia police station area. On which the joint party of Kanker DRG and BSF 132 Battalion left for patrol search towards villages Amatola, Binagunda and Kalpar in the eastern area of Kotri river for anti-Naxal operation.
Meanwhile, an encounter took place between the police party and the Maoists near Binagunda at around 7 am today. In this encounter, 1 no. 303 bore rifle was recovered along with the dead body of a woman Maoist. Search operation is going on in the area near the encounter site.
