Workers injured in BSP, burnt due to spilling of hot metal

Bhilai city: This morning, a contract worker in the steel melting shop SMS 2 inside Bhilai Steel Plant suffered 60 percent burn injuries after hot metal spilled on him. He was immediately taken to the medical post. From where the doctors sent him to Sector 9 Hospital due to his serious condition.

According to information received from sources, this morning Tulsi Prajapati, a contract worker in SMS 2 department, was working near Ladle. Meanwhile, hot metal spilled from the ladle and fell on the body of the contract labourer, due to which he got burnt on both his hands and face. He was taken to the medical post for immediate treatment, from where he was referred to the sector hospital. The contract laborer is an employee of Gopal Enterprises.
