Worm tainted water is reaching homes from corporation taps, huge anger among people

Kawardha: Once again contaminated water is being supplied from the tap in Nagar Panchayat Bodla, which is why there is a lot of anger among the ward residents.

Even 15 days ago, due to supply of dirty water, 23 people were affected by diarrhea in which one child died. Even after this, we are not able to control carelessness. The people of the ward told that the water tainted with worms is continuously coming in the tap, about which the Nagar Panchayat official has been informed several times, yet no cognizance has been taken till now and about 20 to 15 days before drinking the contaminated water. The health of 23 people had deteriorated and now again due to the arrival of worm-tainted water in the ward, fear has spread in the minds of the residents of the ward.

In this case, CMO of Nagar Panchayat Bodla says that in the ward where contaminated water was coming, the pipe has been closed and the matter is being investigated.
