Young man cheated of Rs 13.5 lakh by giving him online task

Gurgaon. In Cyber Police Station East Area, fraudsters duped a young man of Rs 13.5 lakh by giving him an online task. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case and started investigation. In the complaint given to the police, Puneet Chandel, resident of Sushant Lok Phase-1, said that a person contacted him and asked him to give an online task. He talked about doing an online review and sent a link through Telegram. Through this link, they were given a task and asked to invest.

It is alleged that the money invested by him initially was refunded with profits. But later, they were continuously asked to invest the money and on pretexts they were asked to invest the money. Falling for the trap, he invested around Rs 13.5 lakh. But despite this, instead of refunding his money, he was asked to invest more money. When he realized that he had been cheated, he complained to the police. Cyber Police Station East has registered a case on the basis of the complaint and started investigation.
