Young man murdered by slitting his throat in Dharampur
Dharampur. In Dharampur of Mandi district, a case of murder of a young man returning home from a wedding ceremony by slitting his throat has come to light, while another young man has been seriously injured and is undergoing treatment at Ner Chowk Hospital. Police have registered the case and started investigation. According to the information, Ravi Kumar, Anil Kumar, Rakesh Kumar and Narendra Kumar were returning home from a wedding ceremony late Saturday night from village Kaloga (Magal) under Dharampur police station. When all three of them were standing in the village outpost road and were preparing to go home. Meanwhile, two youths came in a car and started asking about Ravi. During this, as soon as he came in front of Ravi, he stabbed him with a knife on his neck, due to which Ravi fell on the ground. When Narendra tried to wake up Ravi, the accused attacked him too.
After committing the incident, the attackers Guddu Ram and Sunil Kumar tried to flee from the spot, but other youths stopped them and took the injured Ravi to Mandap Hospital in their own car. Where the doctors declared Ravi dead. The accused fled from the hospital in another car (HP28B 6489) and left their respective cars in the hospital. In the statement given to the police, the injured youth Narendra Kumar told that this entire incident was jointly carried out by Guddu Ram, son of Biriya Ram and Sunil Kumar, son of Roshan Lal, village Dholan, post office, Brang tehsil Dharampur. The police have arrested both the accused youths. DSP Sarkaghat Sanjeev Gautam and Dharampur police team along with the forensic team from Mandi reached the spot and started collecting evidence. Confirming the matter, DSP Sarkaghat Sanjeev Kumar Gautam said that the police have registered the case and started investigation. The police have conducted the post-mortem and handed over the body to the relatives.
