Young man shot dead in Manila
Moga. A youth from Lande village of Baghapurana town of Moga was shot dead in Manila last night. On reaching the village the body of the youth will be cremated. The former panch of village Lande told that two sons of Hakam Singh Sara, Lakkha and Sukhchain Singh alias Chaina, had gone to the Philippines for livelihood.
A young man recently came to the village to enjoy Akhand Paath at home. Sukhchain Chaina and another boy from Lande village were returning after purchasing goods from a mall in Manila last night when the assailants shot Chaina several times in the head, while the other boy survived. Chaine has a four-year-old daughter, who has come to village Lande with her mother. Chaina was handicapped in his legs. There is a wave of mourning in the area after this incident.
