Dehradun. Another case of spoiling the atmosphere by insulting a religious place has come to light in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. The latest case is of Kali Mata Temple located in Harrawala, where CCTV video of a person wearing the traditional round cap of Muslims urinating and then pelting stones went viral.
There was an uproar as soon as the incident of vandalism and urinating at the gate by a Muslim man was revealed. After the incident, Hindu organizations expressed anger. A large number of workers of Hindu organizations gathered at the temple and created a ruckus. The incident is said to have happened around 1 o’clock in the night. A young man came out of the temple from the main road and started urinating at the temple gate. After this he threw stones at the temple.

The accused who committed all this act is wearing a round cap. This incident was captured in CCTV. Hindu organizations say that even before this, there have been many incidents of breaking the idols of Gods and Goddesses in temples or damaging the temple, but due to lack of strictness from the police administration, this is happening continuously. The police is trying to identify the accused with the help of CCTV.
Police say that only after the arrest of the accused, it will be known why the person deliberately committed such an incident. Was his motive to disturb the communal harmony or is he mentally insane? Police are also scanning the CCTV footage of the surrounding area to find any clue about the accused.
Harrawal councilor Vinod Kumar has said that some heretic has done this to spoil the atmosphere between Hindus and Muslims. After urinating, he broke the glass of the temple with a stone and tried to enter inside, but he failed. After this he ran away. After receiving the information, the CO and senior officers reached the spot and collected evidence from the spot. Hindu organizations have warned of protests if the accused is not arrested soon.
