Young man who went out to sell hemp in a bag arrested

Raipur. Accused Ajay Devdas has been arrested along with Ganja. According to the information, the team of Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit received information that a person near village Samoda under Police Station Arang area has kept ganja with him and is looking for a customer to sell it.

On which Additional Superintendent of Police City/Crime Abhishek Maheshwari, Additional Superintendent of Police Rural Neeraj Chandrakar and City Superintendent of Police Mana Kalpana Verma, in-charge Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit and station in-charge Arang, after verifying the information, directed the accused to catch the accused red-handed with ganja. On which a joint team of Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit in-charge and Arang police station among the senior officials went to the said place and identified and identified the person of the appearance told by the informer. During interrogation, the person told his name to be Ajay Devdas resident of Arang Raipur. On searching the bag kept with him by the team members, it was found to contain ganja. On which accused Ajay Devdas was arrested and a total of 01 kg 500 grams of ganja worth about Rs 15,000/- was seized from his possession and action was taken against the accused by registering crime number 471/23 Section 20B Narcotics Act in Police Station Arang.
