Kohli fans disappointed.. no cricket at Chinnaswamy Stadium

Bengaluru: The Vijay Hazare Trophy cricket matches were scheduled to be held at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. But the venue for the match, which was scheduled to be held from tomorrow, has been suddenly changed. The local government has not given permission to the Karnataka State Cricket Association to hold a cricket match at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. City Police Commissioner Seemant Kumar Singh announced this today. Kumar Singh said that 11 people died in the stampede that took place in the wake of the RCB Victory Parade in June, and that after that incident, Justice Michael D’Cunha made some suggestions, and the police also made suggestions seeking 17 types of changes, but the Karnataka Cricket Association did not implement any of them, which is why permission was not given to hold the match.

The matches will be held at the BCCI’s Cricket of Excellence Ground instead of the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Due to security reasons, the Vijay Hazare match venue has been changed as per the Karnataka government’s orders. The match was supposed to be played between Delhi and Andhra. In fact, Virat Kohli is ready to play in this match. But his fans will be disappointed. Since the Chinnaswamy Stadium was not given permission.. the match will be held at the Centre of Excellence Ground without spectators.
