Accordingly, information was received from the informer that a person is selling illegal intoxicant by keeping ganja in Motilal Nagar Kota near Shiv Mandir. On the information, Mr. Senior Superintendent of Police, Additional Superintendent of Police City Raipur, Additional Superintendent of Police West Raipur and City Superintendent of Police Azad Patrolling party was sent under the guidance of Chowk Raipur. On reaching the spot of the said incident, as per the information given by the informer, he caught hold of that person and when asked about his name, revealed his name as Laxman Jagat alias Lucky, from whose possession the intoxicating substance Ganja, totaling 1 kg 350 grams worth Rs 13500, kept in a white carry bag was seized. Brought to the police station. A case was registered against the accused in Saraswati Nagar Raipur police station. 286/23 Section 20 (b) n.d. P.S. The accused was sent on judicial remand.
