Youth arrested for selling liquor in Urla

Raipur. The youth has been arrested with liquor. According to information, police station Urla received information that a person has kept liquor with him near Birgaon Budhwari Bazar Nandi Chaura under police station Urla area and is trying to sell it. On which, under the direction of senior officers and under the leadership of station in-charge Urla, the team of police station Urla identified and arrested the person of the character told by the informer. During interrogation, the person told his name as Ravi Dhruv father Bisahu Ram Dhruv age 24 years near Sakin Durga Mandir, Gazi Nagar Birgaon police station, Urla Raipur.

On searching the white colored bag kept with them by the team members, it was found to contain country spice liquor. Continuous efforts were being made to mislead the team members by not presenting any kind of document on demand of valid documents regarding possession of liquor. On which the accused was arrested and kept illegally from his possession 35 pauwa country spice liquor worth about Rs.3850/- was seized and action was taken against the accused by registering crime number 237/23 Section 34(2) of the Excise Act in police station Urla Went.
