Youth died under mysterious circumstances, was admitted for de-addiction

Guwahati. A youth admitted to a rehabilitation center in Guwahati for de-addiction was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Wednesday. According to the police, Naba Kalita (32) was admitted to the rehabilitation center three days back for the de-addiction process. It is learned that the staff of the rehabilitation center found his dead body this morning. Naba was a resident of Silpukhuri in Kalita town. Police has started the investigation of the matter. Meanwhile, the family members blamed the officials of the rehabilitation center for Kalita’s death and alleged that she was murdered inside the rehabilitation centre. Significantly, the body of a woman was found under unknown circumstances in Birubari area of Guwahati in the early hours of Sunday. The body was found buried under a pile of garbage in the Bharalu river. The police have been involved in the investigation of the case.
