Youth dies due to drowning in Yamuna river

Karnal. The whole country is celebrating Dilawi. Diwali happiness turned into mourning when a family’s lamp got extinguished. According to the information received, a youth resident of Chogma village of Indri died due to drowning in Yamuna river. The family alleges that a Tantrik had sent deceased Sandeep to the banks of Yamuna river.

Actually, family members told that Sandeep was preparing to join Delhi Police. After a few days, he also had his paper, yesterday he had gone to a nearby village, Chandrav, where there was a puja. From there some youth and a Tantrik participate in that puja. After that everyone goes to the Yamuna river flowing nearby.

While performing puja on the banks of river Yamuna, Sandeep drowned in the river. The rest of the people left from there. After receiving the information, family members and police team reached the spot and recovered Sandeep’s body from the canal. Now is this accident due to Sandeep’s foot slipping or some other reason. This is a matter of investigation. Sandeep’s body will be handed over to his family after post-mortem. At present, the police have taken the Tantrik against whom allegations are being made into custody for questioning.
