Youth dies due to electric shock
Sagobandh : On Sunday, Kunjay Kumar Yadav, resident of Sagobandh, in Faripan of Babhani police station area, died after getting hit by an electric wire while threshing paddy with a tractor. The police reached the spot after receiving information and took possession of the body and sent it to Duddhi for postmortem. Kunjay Kumar Yadav, resident of Sagobandh, used to drive a tractor for the last five months. Like every day, around 10 am on Sunday morning, tractor owner Anil Prajapati of Sago Dam village reached the house of Kunjay Kumar Yadav and took the car along for driving. For tractor paddy threshing, work of paddy threshing started on CC Road in front of Faripan Ram Ashish house.
As soon as Kunjay Kumar Yadav climbed on the straw to remove the straw when threshing started, he got hit by 11 thousand voltage hanging at a low height and got burnt. Seeing this, the people around made noise. Hearing the noise, the nearby villagers reached there and separated it from the wire and informed the family members about it. As soon as the information was received, the family members immediately took him to Mayorpur CHC. Where the doctor declared him dead. Police arrived on information, took possession of the body and sent it for postmortem. Villagers said that at many places in the village, there are 11,000 high voltage wires hanging as if a wire is hung to dry clothes. It is not felt that dangerous 11,000 voltage electricity is flowing through it. There are continuous deaths in the area due to dilapidated wires. There has been a continuous demand by the villagers for the last five years to replace the dilapidated wire in Bhabhani area. The villagers have expressed strong displeasure against the electricity department.
