Youth dies due to electric shock
Balodabazar : A young man died due to electric shock imposed for hunting wild animals in the district. There is mourning in the family after the incident. The matter is of Narayanpur village of Kasdol police station area. On receiving the information, Kasdol police have registered a case and started investigation. Police station in-charge Lakhesh Kevant said that on Wednesday late evening at around 7 pm, information was received that two youths had gone out to search for their cow. Meanwhile, a young man, Khagesh Chauhan, got caught in the wire installed for hunting wild animals and became unconscious. Another fellow youth had informed about this to the young man’s family.
The family members of the youth reached the spot and took him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The police reached the spot and started investigation, because it was already night by the time the police reached the village as the incident took place late in the evening. For this reason the police have not found the wires installed for electric current. In this regard, police station in-charge Lakhesh Kevant said that whoever the accused may be, will soon be caught by the police. Police are investigating the case and searching for the accused. Clues have been found, the accused will also be found soon. Let us tell you that most of the district is surrounded by forest. Kasdol block falls in the forest area, where there are often reports of hunting of wild animals in the villages adjacent to the forest. Whereas current wire is used for hunting wild animals. Many times, wild animals and sometimes even humans die due to electrocution.
