Youths who were bathing in the river were beaten up, they had come for picnic

Korba. Some youths from Dadar beat up the youths of the village who had come for picnic in Kanchadi drain near Godhi. Police registered a case on the report of the incident. Ritik Anchal (23) from Godhi village under Civil Line police station, along with his friends Kamal Harvansh, Swapnashek Dahriya, Sameer Jangde, Aditya Lahere and Swaraj Lahere had reached Kanchadi Nala on Monday for a picnic.

They were bathing in the river at around 4 pm. During this time, Purushottam, Suresh, Nageshwar, residents of Damadpara of Dadar, reached there along with their other companions. They suddenly attacked Hrithik, who was taking bath, along with his companion with a stick, rod, belt and dog. When the youth ran to escape, they were chased and beaten. Even their two-wheelers were vandalized. The youth who somehow escaped from the spot reached Civil Line police station and filed a report. Police have registered a case against the accused.
