YS Jagan lays the foundation stone of development works worth Rs 216 crore in Durga temple
Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Prime Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday laid the foundation stone for development works worth Rs 216 million at Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varala Devasthanam (Temple of Durgamma) in Vijayawada. According to an official release, the works include Anna Prasadam Bhavanam, a complex of high rocks, a complex of additional rocks and others. Apart from laying the foundation stone, Reddy inaugurated projects worth Rs 70 million which will be completed, the minister’s office said in a release in ‘X’. He also inaugurated two temples renovated at a cost of Rs 4 million. Later, the minister-principal offered prayers and the priests presented the picture and prasad of Goddess Durga. It was attended by Deputy Minister Principal K Satyanarayan, State Home Minister Taneti Vanitha and senior officials.
