ZF to broadcast in Coimbatore
Chennai: German automobile supplier ZF Group will set up a plant to manufacture transmissions and engines in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The new plant in its state will have a surface area of 12,000 square metres. Focusing on internal and export markets.
The company said the plant, together with the main center in Germany, will support the production capacity needed for the future growth of the global market for construction equipment. Akash Pasi, Chairman, ZF Group India said:

This new plant and the transmission and engine location at our Coimbatore plant will further our ambition of manufacturing in India, Pasi said. ZF Group manufactures hydraulic and electrohydraulic braking systems for the heavy-duty, all-terrain, construction, mining and agricultural sectors. The group expressed confidence on the projected growth of the construction and heavy vehicles sectors in the country.
